Introduction: Spontaneous intracerebral bleed represents a severe neurological pathology that often results in lifelong disability.[1] Owing to the variability in bleed location and size, patients have a variety of clinical syndromes and deficits, making standardization of treatment protocols difficult and impossible. There is evidence to support both medical and surgical management; however, the literature is largely lacking in data that can define the optimal management strategy and timing of intervention.
