Abstract

Background: Stroke severity at presentation isan important predictor of early clinical course andutilization of resources. Neurologicalalimpairment in acute ischemic stroke may beassociated with demographic data, vascularcomorbidities, smoking, alcohol consumption,blood pressure and other available clinicalparameters.
