Abstract

Serum cortisol and thyroid hormone levels were examined in patients diagnosed with majordepressive disorder (MDD) to evaluate their potential role as endocrine biomarkers. A case-controlstudy enrolled treatment-naïve adults with MDD and matched healthy controls.
