Abstract

Introduction: Ischemic stroke remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally, withsecondary prevention focusing on reducing recurrent strokes. Statins have been shown to havesignificant benefits in reducing cardiovascular events; however, the efficacy of high-dose statinscompared to standard-dose in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke remains uncertain.
