Role of High-Dose Statins Versus Standard-Dose in Secondary Prevention of Ischemic Stroke
Keywords:
ischemic stroke, high-dose statins, secondary prevention.Abstract
Introduction: Ischemic stroke remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally, withsecondary prevention focusing on reducing recurrent strokes. Statins have been shown to havesignificant benefits in reducing cardiovascular events; however, the efficacy of high-dose statinscompared to standard-dose in secondary prevention of ischemic stroke remains uncertain.
