Abstract

Introduction: Oral Submucous Fibrosis (OSMF) is a progressive chronic and possibly malignant disorderthat is on the rise among the South Asian populations. Vitamin D, which has been said to haveimmunomodulatory and anti-fibrotic effects, could be involved in the pathogenesis and progression ofOSMF. This paper set out to assess the relationship between Vitamin D concentration in the serum and the severity of OSMF
