Abstract

Background: Retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) is increasingly being used for renalstones > 2 cm in patients where indicated. The available nephrolithometric scoringsystems are limited when predicting outcomes in larger stones such as R.I.R.S., T.O.HO.,and STONE scores. The PRECISE score, a seven-parameter preoperative tool (each 0–2; total 0–14), was developed and validated retrospectively in a single-center cohort.
